The Affinity Associates Group are a top 100 (in the UK) family-owned Accountancy Group which started life in 1960’s, formed by the Amin family. Originally a single office firm based in North London, throughout the last twenty years the firm has grown by acquisition, however in early 2024 the firm took the decision to begin franchising.

We partnered up with a franchise consultant to build our franchise business model, construct financial projections, write the franchise agreement, create a marketing strategy, and documented the systems required to run our business as if it were a franchise.

Affinity Associates Franchising then formally launched in November 2024. One year later we secured our first franchise office, a bookkeeping firm in Stratford Upon Avon run by Samantha Heynes. She wanted to offer the full suite of Accountancy and Taxation services to her existing clients. This was a great fit, and enabled her to access tax and accounting professionals.

Our second franchisee was George Isaacs, whom with the financial support of his uncle launched the second Affinity Associates franchise in Manchester. George having not had the opportunity to progress within a firm up to Partner level, was able to buy in to the franchise opportunity instead.

Our franchise opportunity starts at £24,495 + VAT.
This secures you a dedicated ‘marketing territory’ in which to market your business. We have divided the UK up into territories where there are approximately 8,000 – 10,000 businesses in each territory. The franchise fee also includes your initial training, and your initial IT set-up.

There is an ongoing management service fee (MSF) for Head Office Support, which equates to 6% of your turnover net of VAT.

No one likes nasty surprises, the following mandatory service additions include;

  • Affinity Smart IT, which provides the ongoing IT support a scaling new business
  • Affinity Group Financial Services, for regulated IFA services, lending, and pensions.
  • Outsourced Accounting by Affinity Outsourcing, allowing you to focus on marketing.

  • Affinity Associates Group Limited, regulated audit services.
  • Various software packages to run your business, as detailed in the franchise agreement.

There are optional add on packages, such as;

  • An audited potential client list of the contacts of the businesses in your territory.
  • The sales and marketing support package, 1 on 1 time with a sales executive, with the aim to give you a plan on how to approach gaining new clients.
