How it began for these Ashford accountants
In 2003, Don Murrell, Rose Murrell, and Rebecca Moye came together to create something special in Ashford: Affinity Associates (AU) (formerly Accounts Unlocked), an ACCA-Regulated practice. Their combined accounting expertise, knowledge of tax optimisation, and passion for exceptional customer service were evident from the word go.
No wonder word spread about them, and their client base quickly grew through referrals by its existing client base! By 2014, Affinity Associates (AU) reached a pivotal juncture, acquiring the well-regarded accounting firm Nicolaou Dearle & Co. This wasn’t just a merger; it was a union of shared values and visions.
This move brought a surge in clientele to over 1,000, all nurtured by a 20-member strong team, overseen by their trio of directors. And to accommodate this surge, a grand new office sprang up in Ashford.

Their journey, though, didn’t stop there. With 1,500 loyal clients under their belt, they shifted to the modern Bizspace building in Ashford in 2021.
And then, a moment they had eagerly anticipated: they united forces with Affinity Associates. This wasn’t just a business move; it was about blending strengths.
