TaxCalc and Affinity 2024 announcement

In 2023, Affinity Associates Limited took the decision to migrate all 14 of our Group practices over to a single CRM, our software of choice was; TaxCalc by Acorah Products.
This ongoing project has been a mammoth task. With practices migrating from several other competitors, including; CCH, Digita, Sage, and IRIS products.
This would have been no easy task for any business to manage, with all of the;
- Researching and testing the products.
- Communication to the stakeholders.
- Change management.
- Planning the design and the migrations.
- Setting up a new IT system with enough power, and to be secure by design.
- The training requirements of an international firm.
- Database clean-up.
We’re now 6 months in after our migration, and looking back it was a brilliant business decision.
By doing this project, we have;
- Centralised our marketing database.
- Promoted system champions.
- Cleansed the databases, making sure we only have the information we want to see.
- Centralised our reporting capabilities.
- Reduced the barriers to inter office working by providing a single system.
- Revamped our AML procedures.
- Revolutionised our data protection policies, building a new system that is secure by design.
New practices joining our group have nothing to fear from this essential synergy change. Migrations are now a well-trodden path for our firms, which has been well managed by our in house IT team Affinity Smart IT, and the dedicated experts at TaxCalc.
Along with impeccable support, account management, and training provided by TaxCalc, the transition for our future teams will also be smooth.
